Be sure to document your meeting, including anything the employee says and how he or she reacts to the firing. Employees generally have questions about benefits and insurance. An alternate case of medium risk termination is when the employee is unlikely to sue, but you have little papers justifying a legitimate firing. Keep a friendly tone and act like you're the sacked worker's advocate with the business. Here your worker has repeatedly failed to increase his or her behavior and you have documented this case thoroughly. For the "bad" ones, they're invoking the company policy. Because every firing is different, it is impossible to write a template that covers every possibility. But when the problem employee listed a false employer, then you can dismiss immediately. After you have created your layoff notifications, call a meeting with all of your workers and let them know about the termination. For example, you may want to fire an employee because you find out he's a homosexual or because his wife had an abortion. If you are writing a separation notice for a downsizing or layoff, you'll use a different tone. It protects you and the small company against any form of litigation a former employee chooses to file.
