Policies for dealing with problem employees in this area differ from firm to company. It's a good idea for all employers to have guideline termination methods in place. An examination brings shame and embarrassment to the accused worker. Briefly describe the grounds for separation. In addition, you should draft an employee separation memorandum and conduct an exit interview. If you allow misbehavior to continue, it will give the wrong message to other employees who think they can also get away with this behavior. Beyond the layoff of a salaried monthly worker, there are other points to ponder. Have an extra witness for the firm there when you give the employee the letter. If you take the time to collect this information before you fire a worker, it will make the layoff go more smoothly and prevent legal problems later. I cannot lay off him for that reason for fear of violating his right of free speech.
